Once Upon A Dream: An Arthur/Merlin comic
UM, OKAY. I don’t quite know how to sum this up briefly, because I feel like this has completely taken over my life for the past few weeks. I’m not even sure how this idea hatched itself, but suddenly I was like I MUST DO A SLEEPING BEAUTY-INSPIRED ONCE AND FUTURE KING COMIC BECAUSE OMG ARTHUR WOULD BE THE PERFECT SLEEPING BEAUTY ♥_♥ And thus, this was born. (Full post is here on livejournal because idk how you’re even supposed to post comics on tumblr…)
I guess I drew my last Merlin/Arthur drawing not knowing that it would basically be the same universe as this ridiculous comic. I JUST WANT THEM TO BE HAPPY AND CUDDLY OK
So wow, I really love that animation “The Reward”! It was tooootally awesome… I just… haha, kinda wanted some ladies to get in on the awesome too! Soooo genderbend? XD
And I made one of them black ‘cos blond hair didn’t look right in this color scheme!
Based off these truly awesome bros from The Animation Workshop:
So, “The Reward” has been one of the best bachelor films of my school (The Animation Workshop) this year. I enjoyed it quite a lot; cool characters, good story telling, beautiful background artwork etc.
My only criticism (with ALL of this years’ films, really) - no ladies. It was mostly just eye-candy running around, which I understand fits really well in this particular universe, but still I was a little miffed.
And theeerefore, this fanart makes everything perfect! I am pleased. <3
